As this may be the last nice days of our “summer” I headed up to the idx building courtyard for a good dose of Seattle sunshine. It’s one of Seattle’s best kept secrets, so don’t tell anyone. Now we just need to figure out what to do on this rather cool labor day weekend. If you look really closely, you can even see Mt Rainier right next to my building, the Dexter Horton building.

Silas helped me harvest green/yellow/purple beans, carrots and Cucumbers from the garden.

Silas enjoyed playing with his big loader from grandma and papa …it arrived in the mail this afternoon.

Silas got a nice new haircut today. He didn’t particularly enjoy it screaming nearly the whole time but the woman managed to do a good job.

Silas had fun at the Ballard fountain even though the water was shut off.

Soakin in the sun at Mandalay Bay pool. I’m trying to stock up on the vitamin for the looming Seattle winter. So far the bachelors are both doing well. Brett’s especially doing well at the tables.

In Vegas for Brett and Todd’s bachelor party. Stopping in the atrium to check out the wildlife. I can’t believe that in just 20 years Silas will be able join us.

I’m aiming for Silas to be one of the ten or so professional Lego builders in the world. I’m also teaching him how to take credit for someone else’s work. He’s got one out of the two right now.

Silas and I took a morning jog and a stop at Ross park this morning before it gets too hot- it will be another 90 degree day. Silas was playing music and doing some singing and dancing.
