Alpental powder from last weekend January 5, 2012

Thanks to grammy’s generous baby sitting, Angela and I were able to get a great day in at Alpental. The snow was deep and light and the sun was shining. Unfortunately, it was also a holiday weekend and the hill was absolutely packed. A full lap, from bottom to top to bottom took over an hour. Skiers and boarders were hungry for these rare ideal conditions. January will bring lessons for Silas, so we’ll be getting less Alpental runs in the future.
