Enjoying the sun at Olympic Sculpture Park April 22, 2011
Last weekend, Silas and I biked from Fremont to the Olympic Sculpture Park along the picturesque Myrtle Edwards Trail. We met up with mommy and Hazel to enjoy some fun in the sun. We find the sculpture park to be very kid friendly. From the small beach, to the grass fields, to the interesting sculptures, we never have a moment of boredom. Hide-and-go-seek around all the sculptures is always one of the highlights. All of the sculptures also make for unique family photo opportunities as well. And the small selection of toys in the "sun room" is just icing on the cake. Highlighting the kid friendliness, this past weekend, we saw a birthday party group of at least 15 kids doing some sort of scavenger hunt on the grass steps. Hopefully we'll be able to bike there as a whole family soon.
