Evening at Golden Gardens with Grammy March 21, 2011
We brought the family down to Golden Gardens Park for a somewhat warm evening. Because our car can only comfortable accommodate 4 people, Silas and I biked along the missing link of the Burke-Gilman Trail. Fortunately, we didn't get hit by any trains or get our tires stuck in any railroad tracks. Angela, grammy and hazel headed over in the car. Fortunately, they found a parking space, because the park was packed and there weren't many spots left. We managed to take our shoes and socks off for a dip in the rather chilly, 45 degree Puget Sound waters. We also hung out with some youngsters who were building a sand castle. Silas introduced himself and had a great time with the kids. We were most impressed though by a few kids skinny dipping in the Sound. That's pretty hardcore if you ask me.
