Fountain water features at South Lake Union Park September 6, 2011

We were pleasantly surprised to find some new water features at the newish South Lake Union Park. Now the park has something that appeals to the kids. The tough part was the wind though. Even though we had a somewhat warm, cloudless sky, the dry cool breeze and the cool water pouring out of the fountains got us cold real quick. I had to give Silas the shirt off my back to warm him up. South Lake Union is really coming together. From the buildings, to the park to the light rail, it seems that this area is here to stay. I think Paul Allen has his 2nd big hit after Microsoft.
