Nearing sunset at Gasworks Park August 28, 2011

Nothing beats Gasworks when it comes to the evening light on a sunny day in Seattle. There’s a reason you see wedding pictures taken here on many nights. The light seems to just flow in around the park. August has been very good to the patient people of Seattle. Every day seems nicer than the last. This picture was taken just before the sun went behind the trees. As you can see, Hazel hasn’t quite adopting mommy’s wardrobe colors, but I presume it won’t be too long before she moves out of pink too.
