Sunset below Hidden Lakes Lookout October 21, 2011

We attempted our nearly annual pilgrimage to the Hidden Lakes Lookout. Unfortunately, mommy and Hazel were unable to make the trek (and with temps dropping into the upper 20s, that was a wise decision). We also were unable to get to the lookout due to the winter-like trail conditions. That was probably for the best though, since there were 6 people in the lookout that night plus another 2 dogs. It seems that the secret s out about the lookout, but hopefully we can get it to ourselves sometime next year. This sunset picture was taken at the flat area below the Hidden Lakes Peak summit, and a discerning eye would correctly conclude that we re looking northwest toward Mt Baker.
