Under the cherry blossoms in the front yard April 19, 2011

We got the whole family out in the front yard yesterday for a family portrait. Silas required the level to maintain his composure. He was also helping make sure our tripod was level. Hazel and everyone else are bundled up because it has yet to get much over 55 degrees this year. Somehow, the flowers still know to bloom and the leaves are beginning to sprout. It's too bad this cherry tree doesn't bear fruit, because it seems like it would have a ton of cherries if it did. Then again, maybe all the tree's energy goes into these great cherry blossoms.
