Whitehorse Saloon in Arlington April 11, 2012
After what could be Dave’s last hike in Washington we stopped at the aptly named Whitehorse Saloon. We mentioned to the bartender that we had hiked Whitehorse that day, but I don’t think she even knew that it’s one of the most grand and prominent peaks in the Cascades. After a somewhat late start and a few minor setbacks, we were unable to reach the summit. But, we managed to enjoy a great spring day in the Cascades. Now Dave’s moved to the opposite corner of the country. We’re gonna miss him.
As the great terminator once said, I’ll be back.
